I haven't worn a watch in 20 years - not since I retired.  But if this could beat my blood sugar readings as an early warning system, it might even be worth it!  ;)

I think that current " smart watches " would need additional sensors but I can see how they may work.  My Fitbit keeps track of heart rate but not other things.  I see a relationship with my bg and how I feel to warn me of pending illness.  This morning is an example as my bg is higher than expected and I feel like there is a cold coming on.  It might be nice to have other sensors for a better idea of what is happening.
