New Oral Pill
« on: February 10, 2018, 07:28:22 PM »
A researcher from The Syracuse University has devised a new Oral Pill for T2 Diabetics. It acts like the GLP-1 agonists, Victoza et. al. but without the nauseating side effects. To me, forcefully secreting insulin from the pancreas is not a good idea.

I’m on a single metformin every evening and I’m quite happy with my numbers. I wouldn’t consider adding another pill if things continue the way they are.
My life is based on a true story.

The people on this forum for the most part have learned that it is possible to control their bg with diet and by cutting carbs.  It works for me and I have been happy with the results for about 5 years now.  However the majority of diabetics out there will not consider changing their lifestyle and just want a pill that lets them go on eating what they want and not worrying about the results.
As long as there is a demand there will continue to be new drugs claiming to be better than the rest and being promoted as the new answer to maintaining bg control.  That is where the money is.
