Alzheimer’s research must be terribly hampered by the lack of tests indicating its presence. Still, interesting to see this along with yet another suspicious protein.

I may be delusional myself, but it seems to me I recently heard of an exceptionally effective drug already undergoing development.  If these things are true, it certainly would be hopeful for aging populations.

A very interesting article.  It may be some time before there is a development from this that is a cure or help but the research is apparently going in the right direction.

As a person with several family members dx'd with Alzheimer's, I welcome any break throughs/research that is going on. It is my biggest fear this will hit me at some point...

6/2012 A1c 5.7%  In the 4% A1c club since July 2013. 12-2016 A1c 5.1%. 6-2018 A1c 5.3%.
No meds since 3/2015, diet controlled.  Minimal exercise.

I don't have several, but my paternal grandmother got it & spent her last days in a nursing home, unable to recognize any of us.  :'(
